What Life Can Be Like
It’s all about perceptions
Somedays, I wake up where I feel God has specially chosen to bless me.
I complete my list of chores, reach the gym on time and find a decent parking spot without the guard bugging me. There’s no pimple on the top of my forehead. My makeup is quick and effortless, and it stays. The scarf I’ve chosen with my clothes looks excellent to the extent that I don’t even need jewelry. I manage to eat a decent and healthy breakfast, and in only a few minutes, I’ve packed my lunch too. My daily affirmations make me feel better. The weather is pleasant. I find beautiful clouds on my way to work.
Maybe more than being blessed, it is my perception that has changed. Perhaps everything is how it’s always been, but I’m choosing to find the positive in it all.
And maybe that is how life is — a series of perceptions, good and bad.
